How to Make Baked Apples
How many apples?
This recipe calls for 6 apples, however, I use two medium to large sized apples. It's enough apples to make a 9x9 pan. If you're planning to peel your apples, you might need to consider using more apples. I personally leave the skin on my apples to make the prep time quicker. The size of the apples you use also determine how many apples you realistically need to use.
What type of apple to use?
I like to use Gala apples because they tend to be much sweeter than other types of apples. Some other types of apples you can use for this recipe are: Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, or Fuji.
