Location

Mistora is located at 1620 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA, which is close by Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta.

Parking

Mistora offers valet only for $10.

Ambiance & Vibe

Mistora offers a a cozy vibe with modern decor. I love the interior design of the restaurant. There's a bar, main floor, and two small dining rooms that could be used for private dining. Because the main room is small, I highly suggest making reservations.

Cocktails

For cocktails, I had the Ruby Rush and Lemon Drop. Both drinks were delicious. They definitely didn't hold back on the alcohol.

Food

Here's the food I tasted at Mistora:

Garlic Butter Gambas Pil Pil

Sautéed shrimp in garlic, paprika, lemon, and parsley-infused oil, served with toasted baguette.

I really enjoyed this dish. The shrimp were very flavorful with a little kick. If you don't like spicy food, then this dish may not be for you.

creamy kale dip

Creamy kale dip with garlic, parmesan, trufle seasoning, cream cheese, and sour cream, topped with mozzarella and served with pita slices.

I'm not a fan of kale, but I was pleasantly surprised by this dish. Mostly because I couldn't taste the actual kale. I mostly tasted the cheeses and seasonings.

braised bone-in beef short rib

Slow‐braised short ribs in red wine, beef broth, and fresh thyme, served with garlic‐infused purple sweet potatoes, sautéed carrots, celery, and onions, finished with a creamy thyme sauce.

I didn't care for this dish. My short rib was very fatty to the point where I couldn't really taste the meat. The purple sweet potatoes were just ok.

Price Point & Value

The tapas range from $9-$25. The entrees averages $30 with the most expensive dish being $65 (Ribeye). The cocktails range from $14-$22.

I feel the prices support the cost of most of the dishes I tasted. I feel it's reasonable and something for every budget.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Mistora. I would definitely return.
