Apps for Content Creators
Canva is a great graphic design tool. When I started using Canva, I was like "where has Canva been all my life?" LOL. You can design graphics for Instagram reel covers, Instagram stories, Pinterest graphics, business cards, your media kit, various brand materials and more.
There is a free version for Canva, but honestly you can do a whole lot more with Canva Pro version. Canva Pro costs around $12.95/month.
The best thing about Canva is that it is very beginner friendly. You DO NOT have to be a graphic artist to use Canva. You can check out Canva here.
Trello is amazing at helping content creators with their productivity. Trello is a project management tool. You can create boards and tasks for your content.
For example, I have a board for my blog, email list, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and Tiktok. For my lists, I separated To Do, Doing, and Done. I have tasks (cards) for each column. I can also assign due dates and create reminders.
Trello is free to use, but they do have a paid version with more features. You can learn more here.
Adobe Lightroom is a must have app for content creator. Lightroom provides a way for you to edit your photos to make them look more professional. Good quality photos is an important piece of content creation. Lightroom allows you to save presets so you don't have to edit each photo from scratch. CapCut is a beginner friendly video editor. I use CapCut to make all my Instagram reels and TikTok. You can add text, graphics, adjust video style settings and more. You can learn more here.
Tailwind is a Pinterest approved scheduler. Tailwind aids you in posting pins during optimal times. I can spend one day and just schedule out a month's worth of pins so I can focus on other things. A scheduler period is a must have tool for content creators. You can get started for free, but they also have paid plans that offer more features. You can learn more here.
